Aidan Asekenye

Aidan has also been a facilitator/tutor teaching biology and environmental courses in the Bachelor of Education External degree Programme at Makerere University. She believes that a change in attitude can influence our practices towards maintaining a good environment of which this can only be achieved through Education as this increases ones knowledge, awareness and equips them with skills. Her job includes running teacher workshops, developing Environmental Education materials which seek to integrate Environment into the Primary School curriculum, carrying out public awareness campaigns in the communities adjacent to protected areas. She is particularly confident and believes that young people can make a difference which is why she does her job with a passion.
